Hi! I’m Lauren Kelston McMillin. I’m an actor working and living in the NYC area.

I am a wife, a mom, and a yogi. I have the skill and versatility to play the loving, quirky mom, like Sheila Hammond (Drew Barrymore) in Santa Clarita Diet, or an edgy, strong-hearted surviver in an apocalyptic universe, such as Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohen) in The Walking Dead. I can also play a smart, strong-willed, vulnerable character like Wendy Rhodes (Maggie Siff) in Billions, or a hippy-chic, fitness oriented woman like Bonnie Carlson (Zoë Kravitz) in Big Little Lies.

A native New Yorker, turned Jersey girl, I live with my husband, two boys, and two dogs. I graduated with a BA from the University of Vermont, then continued my studies at the Neighborhood Playhouse, the People’s Improv Theater, and various other acting classes in NYC.

I am an accomplished voice over and theater actor, and most well known for my role as Young Barb on the hit Netflix series, Orange is the New Black. In addition to acting, I am a well established and renowned yoga instructor. I created the Yoga for Alex event in honor of my brother, and was awarded the Community Ambassador of Hope award by the Hope for Depression Research Foundation in 2018.
